If Satan Can't Destroy A Family One Way...

December 12, 2013

...he will try another.

As ya'll may recall, over the past year I requested prayer for a mother and her two young sons about a situation where the father was fightin' her for unsupervised visits, and that the dad had a history of sexually abusin' all of his 5 kids, the older 3 bein' out of the home and on their own.

Well, the custody hearin' and the trial that the mom went through over keepin' her boys safe all got finished, she was found guilty and sentenced to mostly community service and fines, etc. The dad was allowed every visit that he was entitled to, so on and so forth. We were all pretty devastated that she wasn't found innocent, the investigation into the abuse was shut down, all that 'stuff'.

The ONLY thing we knew for certain was that...

So, time goes by, and I hear from the mom.

Some interestin' developments occured.

First, the dad hardly EVER took the boys for his allowed visits--there was always somethin' that prevented him from doin' it.

He moved off to live with his 'partner' in another state. So now he couldn't get the boys.

Then his 'friend' dumped him and he had to move back to the town where the boys live.

He is now livin' in his car, so he can't take the boys. He makes very little money, and he can only afford to take the boys to lunch sometimes at a local fast food joint, OR...he can lunch with them at the cafeteria at their school. Talk about SUPERVISED.

The oldest boy has reached the age where he can now refuse to see his dad, and the youngest is getin' there fast.

The mom has had all her legal fees paid for her by a benefactor, so she has no worries in that area. She is doin' her community service with no problems.

She is movin' on with her life, and the dad seems to have been sideswiped by life.

1 Samuel 17:26 comes to mind when I see this happenin'. It's where David asks, how dare he come against the army of the Living God?

Well, you see what can happen.

So, now we come to the present day, and Satan is comin' against this family yet again.

Now it seems that her oldest son, a young man whom I have known since he was 10 or 11, and he spent his days homeschoolin' and buildin' computers, has moved into the 'dumber than dirt' category.

He has fallen in with what is essentially, a cult. I won't dignify the organization by tellin' the name. Let's just say that 'temple prostitution' is alive and well in the new millennium. Mankind has not gotten any smarter--he still worships the female organ--he just does it now under the guise of big business...

This young man has not only gotten into this mess, he has left his family and has cut himself off from his mom and others.

I know this guy--he's SMART. EINSTEIN would be depressed in his presence. He has always been grounded and sensible. However, all the brouhaha about the sexual abuse over the last year has opened a can of worms in his heart and mind, and now he's...

Yeah, I know--long post. The main thing is--please pray for this family again. Satan couldn't destroy it with the father's evil, now he's workin' to gum up the group through the oldest boy. There are small children who will lose their daddy, and a young wife who is faithful and loyal, yet in order to protect herself and her children, she is havin' to file for divorce. Please pray that he wakes up to the fact that he can lose everything he has worked for--includin' his job, if he doesn't get his head out of his keister.

Well, I got chores. Later ya'll.

  1. Wow. I feel extremely sheltered to say this, but I really didn't know there were present day religions (well, using that term loosely) in our country that use sex in that manner. I feel especially for his wife and kids - ugh, what a heart breaking situation to be in. I'm sorry to hear this is happening. I do hope and pray he comes to his senses soon, before something happens that cannot easily be undone.
